Outside In

Today’s image is from Lawrence Heritage State Park, a little gem I discovered this past weekend.  In addition to having a visitor center and several other properties, there is this small park constructed inside the walls of an old industrial-era building.   It’s such an unusual place, and it feels a bit surreal as you walk past park benches surrounded by brick walls and iron beams overhead.  This was a really cool find, and I definitely plan to come back again to try some other angles and vantage points soon.

  1. Great shot, I’m a sucker for a sunburst as well. This reminds me of one time I was exploring in West Park, we got to the top floor of a ward and the roof had gone a long time ago, the floor had trees and other greenery sprouting from it.
