Winter Light

Well it’s back to the archives for another image of Nubble Light in York, ME.  I’ve posted shots of this iconic lighthouse several times before (here, here and here), but until today, no winter shots.  Even though this is mostly just a postcard shot, the light and subdued colors give it just a little something extra, and enough where I wanted to share it.

  1. Wonderful work. Enlarged it looks even better. Pin sharp, pristine and almost too good to be true. The reds are a great contrast to the so subte other colours. What a magical effect snow can have on a scene.
