Shaky Bridge

This image was taken just off one of the many hiking trails located along the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire.  This is part of the Pemigewasset River, and from the parking lot at the trailhead, you can access trails on either side of it.  To get from one side to the other, you must cross this suspension bridge which looks much more stable than it feels when walking across.  It’s impossible to take pictures while anyone else is walking on it due the amount of movement that can be felt, and the same is true for a windy day.  Thankfully on this day there were few people and no wind.  After trying some shots from on the bridge, I decided to climb down to grab a shot looking up at the underside of it.  The bridge is fairly narrow and long, which helps to create a nice vanishing point in the image.
